The Latest From Myriad Originals
Myriad Originals have been a shining light, keeping our heads turned in the right direction. Lately, we’ve received inspiring recognitions and shared a collection of beloved original films.
First up, The Addy Awards.
Several Originals won awards at the Triangle Addys, with Voicemails to My Future Self Vol. 1, Window Into an Artist, and an upcoming music video for Sarah Shook all taking home honors. Voicemails took home the night’s biggest honors: Best in Show and the Mosaic award.
Voicemails continued to move on to win a National Addy Award for Sound Design. As well, Voicemails has been accepted to the Las Vegas Black Film Festival, Best Short Competition and nominated as a finalist for the Best Video in the Drum’s Chip Shop Awards.
Director Javon Johnson was featured on KNPR's State of Nevada show, talking on the state of the Black experience. Listen here.
Window Music’s “Window Into An Artist” series has released 5 short films, where musicians break down the cultural and social influences behind their music.

Our music video for Sarah Shook's solo project, Mightmare, is set to debut any minute now. Sarah’s lyrics on the cyclical nature of addiction were used as inspiration for the production approach.
